Nyman Turkish reviews about communication and updates

The representative spent proficient time over the phone requesting information to answer basic questions...I have only received one follow up correspondence from the SSA that they have notified of my representation by Nyman Turkish PC. As of right now, I do no feel confident that they understand my overall request for the SSA process. I realize that these procedures take time for administrative review but in todays era of ease in communication capabilities, I'm confident that overall time has significantly decrease. I would like more of a follow-up from the PC.

If you're thinking about applying for SSD, or SSI consider using another firm. Nyman Turkish is absolutely horrible with communication. Not clear, don't answer questions, and you gotta chase them down. I had to chase down and provide my own records to SSD directly. They read fluff from a script at you. Case managers change often, from what I understand there's a high turn around there. I was initially told 9 mos, creeping on years now with no end in sight. Oh and, continuances, they will absolutely put in continuance after continuance without notifying you, which drags out your case. I had a home when this started, and I am now homeless. They know, and yet somehow my case is not marked as such with SS. Good luck.

I had an excellent experience with Nyman Turkish. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and always treated me with respect. I contacted Nyman Turkish PC to ask more information. I am in search for a Disability Attorney to help with my social security disability. I was referred to this agency by a friend and glad I called to know the kind of people they hire. I spoke with Kimberly who was their intake coordinator (I think that's her title) as she said she's not the attorney or a paralegal. She started to ask questions and I tried to answer them. First her demeanor was a bit against what I believe is customer service. One comment she made to me "You're not answering my question." I told her she needed to reword her question. One question was did I do an application with---. I said yes, I spoke to--- and they did all the paperwork and I answered all their questions. It was just strange and I didn't feel comfortable with her attitude so I decided to end the call with her. She asked if she can get someone else to call me I said no, I wouldn't want to do business with her or the office if they hire people like her. I'll find another attorney or office who will not have an attitude.

Best decision I ever made!! I needed an attorney in order to get disability funds. They were awesome!! Always responded to my phone calls and always kept me informed. **** ********* and ****** were the best. **** had to do a lot of digging to get all my medical records for the Social Security judge and ****** did a great job coaching me and keeping me calm. I HIGHLY recommend this law firm. Their approval record is 85%. That is hard to beat. Lastly, they only get paid if you win and they only take 25% of your lump sum. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH NYMAN TURKISH.

I whole heartedly appreciate all the work you guys did defending me.....I was starting to get discouraged because after the second rejection I was just gonna call it quits but I haven't had reliable income in years because of my unique condition I didn't know what to do but you guys were a big help so I'm grateful for you.....the only thing that on the "con side of it" was the communication could've been better because after not hearing anything for months I wasn't sure if you were still defending me or not luckily you did reach out......but overall I rate 4.5????.

Update:01/15/2026 they are still lying saying they can’t withdraw the fees which they can the judge says so but they had excuses and change subjects and wants paperwork showing my award which will not be happening.. and they are still wanting paid for work they didn’t do and for all the non communication and all the anxiety and stress I had to go thru and having to work my own case even tho I hired them I even had to appeal my own case and I had to get my own medical records and list of doctors and had to send records to disability office and to them as well and they still wanting paid for work they didn’t do! I asked if they could tell me all the work they did that gives them the right to charge me the outrageous fees and I couldn’t get a clear answer or explanation and I even was truthful and said after signing with them I got to speak with a gentleman do about four months from June 2025 to around September or October and after that I basically had to work my own case and that’s when communication stopped and barely talk to anyone I even stated I would agree they should be paid for those few months but afterwards there was nothing but stress and anxiety and unprofessional lack of work and communication and they still stated it was up to social security office to determine there fees and if they should be paid which is just a way for them to get you to go away and they walk away with an outrageous amount of free money from you that they didn’t do the work for and nothing you could do. So they do it and lie and say that but it’s not true the judge actually gave me information to contact them and ask them to withdraw there fees cause they are the ones that have to send form or letter withdrawaling there fees so don’t let them get over on you and lie. They even want me to send my paperwork of award letter to them. Which they ant my attorney and they didn’t withdraw fees but they want info and I was told not to provide it… it’s so unfair and unprofessional of a big attorney office like themselves that will take advantage of clients that are wanting help and needing there disability to provide for themselves and there family and you hire them thinking they have you at heart and best interest and then you wide up doing all the work do your own case and cause me so much stress and money that I didn’t have to send medical records to them and social security office and doing my own appeal and just a lot of stress and lack of communication and list goes on but after all that the lye and walk away with your money to them it’s free money cause they didn’t do work to deserve it. I agreed they should get paid for those few months when they was doing things but for them still charging the large rediculous outrageous Amount and didn’t deserve any of it or worked for it to me that’s just scammers and con artists and taking advantage of ones that need help and less fortunate.. and again I asked for them to withdraw there fee for lack of work and what I went thru all I got was lies and excuses why they can’t and a apologized. For everything that happened.. trust me look away or walk away find a local attorney or contact me and I’ll give you the greatest attorney that will win for you and earn ever cent and you won’t need to lift a finger or a phone.. best attorney ever.. so u need one contact me.. but if you want to do all the work for your own case and if u want a attorney office that you never get to talk too and you have forever to wait on things for your case to happen and u can wait Forever for your disability and u love stress and anxiety and aggravation then this attorney office is for you there information is at the top.. and if you like giving away a lot Of money for free look no further… Bware:before you sign on with this firm please read and do a lot of research cause I signed with them few years ago and they called and emailed me and responded I. A timely matter but once I had signed on with them as a social security clients and they was representing me the communication stopped.. I could never get anyone on the phones ect

They were great in handling my Social Security claim. Zero issues. Very satisfied. About 6 months after my case settled they called me and suggested a workers comp suit. They felt that there was damages the employer was liable for. After their strong suggestion I decided to file a workers comp case and have them represent me. What a huge mistake. Completely incompetent representation. I cant count how many times I had to beg for a call back or even a return email. So frustrating. Im at the point now that Im ready to take civil action on them for failure to provide sufficient representation. The attorney that was handling my case either quit or was terminated. Not sure which. After no communication for a very long time I sent an email expressing my concern that there was zero communication. The reply was prompt. Your attorney is no longer with the firm and your case has been assigned to a different attorney and his assistant. They are reviewing your case and will be in touch Nothing since. No new contact info. Nothing. Should I be looking into mis representation proceedings? Soooooo frustrating. My case was very near the end. Then. Crickets.
